Mike Bowdoin

As Vice President of Operations, Mr. Bowdoin has responsibility for global operations and supply chain, ensuring market-leading quality and delivery speed. Over 5 years at Cognex, he has led multiple strategic infrastructure projects that have delivered significant operations and financial improvements for the company. His prior experience includes 4 years active duty as an officer in the U.S. Marines, 16 years at GE in multiple leadership roles for global operations, and most recently Senior Director of Operations for the Field and Safety Instruments business at Thermo Fisher Scientific. He holds an MBA and an MS in Finance, both from Boston College Carroll School of Management, as well as a B.S. Individualized Degree in Math/Chemistry/Physics from Providence College and a B.S. Civil/Environmental Engineering degree from Columbia University.
