The Cognex Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) serves as the central point of contact for reporting, assessing, and coordinating the resolution of security vulnerabilities affecting Cognex products, solutions, and digital services.
Security is a core component of our product development and lifecycle management practices. Reported vulnerabilities are reviewed through established processes, assessed for severity and potential impact, and addressed according to their risk level.
Cognex follows responsible disclosure practices aligned with the principles of Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure (CVD). We work collaboratively with security researchers, customers, and other stakeholders to investigate reported vulnerabilities and develop appropriate remediation measures.
To support transparency and help customers effectively manage cybersecurity risk, Cognex publishes Security Advisories for confirmed vulnerabilities when remediation guidance, mitigations, or security updates are available. Security Advisories may include information such as affected products, vulnerability impact, severity, available fixes, and recommended customer actions.
To report a security vulnerability or cybersecurity concern, please refer to the Cognex Product Incident Reporting & Vulnerability Disclosure Policy.
The Cognex PSIRT is committed to transparent, timely, and effective communication to help customers and partners maintain secure and resilient operations throughout the lifecycle of Cognex products and services.
