DataMan barcode readers provide up to 8 PERCENT higher read rates

To ensure smooth operations at their new 50,000 m2 Berbersdorf facility, EDEKA decided to replace their laser scanners with Cognex image-based barcode readers. Read rates are up to 8% higher than with the previous laser-based system, facilitating automated high-speed pallet storage and data capture of 380,000 pallets, containers, thermotainers and receptacles each day.
