Overview
This introductory course provides a foundational understanding of machine vision and its role in modern automation. Learners explore how machine vision systems use cameras, lighting, processing, and software to perform inspection, measurement, and guidance tasks more consistently than manual inspections. The course also addresses common misconceptions about machine vision, explains how these systems work together to solve factory-floor challenges, and introduces the types of applications where machine vision can improve quality, accuracy, and productivity.
