Cognex leverages the ISO 27000 standard of good practice for information security. The ISO27001 OPTIV Questionnaire includes questions related to information security controls from the ISO/IEC standard. Cognex’s answers to these questions will provide you with a broad, high-level overview of our company wide information security controls.

Cognex uses the ISA/IEC 62443 series of standards, developed by the International Society of Automation 99 committee and adopted by the International Electrotechnical Commission, which provides a flexible framework to address and mitigate current and future security vulnerabilities in industrial automation and control systems. The questions and answers provided in this product security questionnaire are specific to the secure software development life cycle based on the February 2018 publication of ISA/IEC 62443-4-1, Product Security Development Life-Cycle Requirements.
